CALLING ALL ARTISTS
The Forum River Center is proud to support the arts and we are always accepting art submissions to be considered for display Fill out the form below for consideration.
Art Submission Guidelines
Subject Matter
Works should be based on the theme of flora and fauna. Preference is currently being given to large works of art and works that include river imagery, but all works will be considered. Art may be realistic or abstract. Only original works of art will be considered.
Size
Selected pieces must meet a minimum display size of 18" x 24". The display size can include the mat and frame.
Medium
All two-dimensional mediums are permitted including paintings, drawings, textile and mixed media. There are no restrictions on the materials used, provided the work can easily be displayed on a wall.
Display & Presentation
Effective presentation of artwork is as much an art as the creation of the art itself. The artist is solely responsible to prepare artwork with all needed hardware required for hanging and ready for presentation. All works on paper must be ready for presentation to include mat and/or frame and a hanging wire installed on the back. Works on canvas may be framed or presented on a wrapped canvas, complete with attached hanging wire. Textile works must be presented on a hanging rod or frame.
Works that are not suitable and ready for hanging and presentation, will not be displayed. Unsuitable art may include, but is not limited to: art that is missing hanging wire or unattached wire; damaged art, mat, frame, or hardware; hardware that doesn't support the size and/or weight of the piece; art that was misrepresented during the selection process.
Sale of Art
Artists whose work is selected for the display may offer the piece(s) for sale. Works will be sold on temporary consignment. All proceeds, less the 20% consignment fee, will go to the artist.

Scheduling
All art displays are temporary to provide opportunity to showcase different artists throughout the year. Displays may showcase one artist or several artists at a time. Given that all art on display is available for purchase; work will be reviewed and accepted in an ongoing basis.

Art Delivery & Pick-up
Artists are responsible for all delivery costs related to delivering art for the display or picking up unsold art at the end of the display period. Artwork that is not picked up at the agreed upon time at the completion of the display period will become the property of the Forum River Center.
Terms
Forum staff reserve the right to reject any art that does not follow submission guidelines.
